Howdy!

I just finished making 18 of these 'Howdy' cards. I'm excited to mail them out. They are going to the kindergartners that I had this past school year. We had a school-wide talent show in May. Our class dressed as cowboys and cowgirls and we sang the song 'Bought Me a Cat'. (I've linked you to the song...we didn't sing it exactly the way this artist did, but you get the idea of the song) The kids looked so cute! I took a group picture and I'm sending each of them a copy along with this 'Howdy' card.

My stamped images are by TAC. I stamped the horseshoe onto the red cardstock with VersaMark. I colored my cowboy image with Prismacolor colored pencils. I actually worked on the cowboy element of the card while I was in Nashville. I took my cropodile with me and I was all set! I love that tool!! It's silent and very easy to use. I totally recommend getting this tool.

Happy Father's Day!

This is the card that I made for my Dad and my Father-in-law for Father's Day. I was inspired by Pam Hooten's card. I came across her blog and she does great work. Be sure to check her blog out. When I put my two patterned papers side-by-side I wasn't too sure, but I think the card turned out pretty good. I have a hard time coming up with masculine
cards, that's why I was really inspired by Pam's card.
