Mini Matchbook Album

I made this mini matchbook album from some of the supplies I received in my first kit from Self-Addressed. You can view those goodies in this post. (The paper I used is some that I had on hand, but the matchbook and embellishments are from the kit.) I made this mini album for my friend Karissa and her daughter Kloe. I mailed it to them, but I'm afraid it has gotten lost in the mail because she hasn't received it yet. I told her I'd go ahead and post these pictures so that she can take a look at it. (What do you think, Karissa?)
I had so much fun making this. I had never used the arrow embellishments before. I liked them so much that I ordered a pack of them from Oriental Trading. The matchbooks come with 6 pages, but as you can see above, I only used 3 pages.

Rolodex Swap

I'm currently in a rolodex card swap. There's a group of us that use each others addresses quite frequently and someone suggested that we swap rolodex cards with all of our info on them. Each card must be 2 1/4 by 4 inches. We agreed to not punch holes in them because one member of the group doesn't have access to a rolodex and she may just put them on a ring. I did a lot of thinking and designing before I came up with this. I'm happy with the finished product.

Supplies used on this rolodex card:
green paper by My Mind's Eye - Wild Asparagus
green and brown Palette ink
Stamp sets from TAC: Punctuation, Deco Designs, SimpleBet

Graduation Money Holder

I love it, I love it, I love it!! This is a money holder that I designed this evening. I really like how it turned out. I'm trying to sell this one in my Etsy shop- we'll see what happens. The hardest part (always the hardest part) is trying to pick out the paper. I started off with red cardstock and stamped some images with black ink, but it was so dull. I came across this patterned paper and knew it was the one. I used TAC's 'Petal Pack' stamp set. It has a lot of great flower images. I used a jumbo paper clip for the closure. I found them at Wal-Mart in the office supply section- awesome! Thanks for looking.
