Girly Mini Album

I spent a little time today making things to sell in my Etsy shop. This is one of the items- a 'girly' mini album. I shared a baby boy album in this post- it was a gift for my sister-in-law. I bought some new paper from TAC called Kaleidoscope Girlz and thought this would be the perfect project to try it out.

I used three 4x4 coasters and my Bind It All for this project. All the stamps that were used are retired TAC stamps. I've had a bunch of chipboard letters laying around forever and was so excited to get to finally use them.

Wedding Day

Today is a very special day- my younger brother Scott is getting married! He is marrying a very sweet girl named Melissa. I created a mini album for them and then realized that I left it at home! (We're 6 hours from home, so there's no going back for it)

I learned how to make this mini album at Jen Bluestein's Arkansas Angel Gathering a few months back. At the gathering, we used TAC's Sands of Time patterned paper, but for this album I used TAC's Amberley Grace pp. I think it's very elegant and perfect for a wedding gift.

There are three pictures in the album and Scott and Melissa can add more later. There are also places for them to do a little journaling.

I tried to add a slideshow, but ran in to a few problems. So here are some pictures of the album. Thanks for looking!

Toodle Loo

My sister-in-law is having a baby shower tomorrow and this is the mini album and card that I'll be giving her. (Nikki, if you're reading this, just act surprised tomorrow!) I used TAC's Toodle Loo cardstock - I just love the colors!
The stamp on the left is a retired TAC set called 'Birth Announcement'. Toodle Loo comes with a sheet of cardstock tags and I placed one on this page for the baby's name. A picture can be placed on the right side.
I placed journaling lines on the right side and again, the left side can be used for a picture.
This is just a quick little card that I made to coordinate with the mini album. That's all for now- thanks for looking!!

Toodle Loo SWIC
4x4 coasters
Ordinary Greetings
Bind-it-All
1/2" binding wire

I Love Teal!

I just love this color....if you couldn't tell! :) I've been taking part in a few challenges over at PW. This first card was a sketch challenge. The diamond pattern is a stamp from a set called 'My Life'. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to get everything lined up just right. If you don't own a stamp-a-ma-jig then you're really missing out. I'm such a perfectionist and I would have stamped the card 20 million times until I got it perfectly straight, but with the stamp-a-ma-jig, I was able to get it right the first time. Now I can really crank out cards!
This was also a sketch challenge. I had scraps left over from the first card and decided to sitck with the same colors. I used Water Lily Green Palette ink on both cards. A beautiful color, in my very humble opinion. :) Oh, something kinda fun, look closely under the words 'with love' and you'll see a faintly stamped image. I stamped on to white cardstock twice (so that I could get a lighter image) and then I used a circle punch to punch the center of the stamped image (the image that I used for the background of the card) and the result was a flower image. Kinda cool, huh?

Supplies for both cards-
My Life
Floral Dingbats
Tag Tidbits
Water Lily Green Palette Ink
white cardstock
Robin's Egg 2 DCWV cardstock

Notepad and pencils

A friend of mine asked me to make up some goodies for her to give to a couple of co-workers. One of the projects is this notepad set. I used the Amberley Grace paper and I really like how it turned out. I learned how to make this project at Jen Bluestein's Angel Gathering this past March.

Supplies-
Amberley Grace SWIC and coordinating cardstock
notepad
pencils
brown ribbon

Baby Onesie

I finally tried my hand at stamping on onesies and I had so much fun! I used Palette ink to stamp my images and then I used my heat gun to set the ink. I ran cold water over the image and even rubbed at it to see if it would smear- no smearing! I just washed the onesie that is shown above and I'm getting ready to put it in the dryer- a little test run.

I was looking through my retired TAC stamp sets and came across the words- 'Drama Queen'. I just had to stamp it on a onesie. I love it! I plan to put a few of these in my Etsy shop...and maybe make a few matching cards to go with them.

Supplies for tree onesie-
Spring Time
(I used a smaller version of 'Spring Time' for the first onesie. The set was offered last month)
Giverny Green Palette ink
Burnt Umber Palette ink
white 6-9 month onesie

Supplies for Drama Queen onesie-
?? retired TAC stamp set
Claret Palette ink

I participated in another 'Limited Supply' challenge and I did it right this time! Hooray for me!! :) Here's the cute little 3x3 card that I came up with. One of the challenge rules was to use scraps of paper. I have TONS of scraps leftover from all my past FunShops and classes. They are just the right size to add a splash of color to a project.

Supplies
A Little Whimsy WIC paper pad
Mini Sampler
Tag Tidbits
Cote d'Azure Palette ink
Black StazOn
white cardstock
