Cards and Blog Candy

Here are a couple of cards that I've been working on for a friend.

I used TAC's Graphic Blooms for this set. The sentiment is retired, but I just love it so much! You aren't able to see in this picture, but I put Crystal Lacquer on the pink flower and it looks really cool in person.

I used a piece of Willoughby pattern paper on this card - I love the colors in Willougby! The background stamp is from an old SOTM and the sentiment is from an old Hostess set. 100 posts?? Wow! This calls for some blog candy! There will be two winners! I am going to give away a $20 TAC stamp set of the winners choice and a brand new set of 'Jewel Box' VersaMagic Dew Drops. I'm having a Stamp-a-Stack class on Feb. 23rd and I'm really excited about it. I've been wanting to have one of these for quite awhile now and I was inspired by Jen Bluestein's recent Card Buffet. Thanks for the inspiration, Jen!

This is a card that I made with one of my new sets, Perky Penguins. It's a level B hostess set. You can find it on pg. 8 of the current TAC catalog.

The colors are a mess in this picture. I tried to tweak the colors on my computer, but finally gave up. The cardstock under the stamped image is a powder blue color...just so you know. :)



I send out a monthly newsletter and usually hold some type of contest or challenge. For the November newsletter, my challenge was to design a card using this sketch by Chris Greiser. Blog Candy

Here it is.....some blog candy!!! After all the carpet was installed I began to put my craft area back together and came across lots of items that I've never used. So I thought I'd give them away!
