Creating Keepsakes Convention
Several of the gals on the trip are members of the HSS message board. It was so much fun getting to meet them in real life!
The highlight of my time at the convention was meeting two Angels that were running the TAC booth. Their names are Jen Bluestein and Angela Miller and their booth was amazing!

Coasters!!
I just received 180, 4x4 inch coasters and this is what I've created so far. In the past I've used matboard and chipboard. You have to get out your utility knife and try not to hurt yourself as you saw through. These 4x4 coasters make it so easy. These projects didn't take much time at all.
I learned how to make the coaster box from Taylor Vanbruggen's great tutorial. I came across the caddy divider from a lady named Lynn McAuley. (I wasn't able to find the site so that I can link you. I'll keep looking.) The coaster album is explained in this tutorial from Beate Johns. I will showcase the Crop-O-Dile with the coaster caddy for one of my demonstrations at my Catalog Reveal Aug. 18th.
There is a third coaster project that I came up with on my own, but it is a surprise! It will be offered as a free Make 'n Take at my catalog reveal party. I'll post pictures after my party.
Supplies used:
Patterned Paper from Uptown Girl paper pad by TAC
black cardstock
black VersaMagic Dew Drop ink to ink the edges
black ribbon
Crop-O-Dile tool to punch holes (cuts like a knife through butter!!)
Yes! glue (wonderful stuff!)
4x4 inch coasters
