Scor-Pal...I love it!

School was called off today due to freezing rain, so I got to spend some time trying out my new toy - the Scor-Pal! I've only tried one project so far, but I've already decided that I made a wise investment. I chose to make a triangular tri-fold card. You can view a great tutorial by Beate Johns here. I had to practice a couple of times to get it to fold together just right, but I've got it down now and I'm ready to make a bunch of these cute little things!
I was browsing blogs and came across a blog by Katie Skiff. She is offering some great blog candy. To be entered you have to create a card using the sketch that she provides. I've been itching to cut into my pack of Kamalaht paper and this sketch was just the spring board that I needed. What do you think?
Supplies for Tri-Fold card:
Mimi SWIC
Butterbees and More
Tag Tidbits
Coluzzle Oval template
misc. brown ribbon

Supplies for card-sketch card:
Kamalaht Classic SWIC
Forget Not
large black brad
black VersaMagic ink
Cuttlebug flower dies

Sarah: Love your stuff! I also like the way you photograph it... do you use a light tent? Can you give me details?! Thanks!

Oh Sarah, I love your tri-fold card. I don't have my scor-pal yet, but it's on my list of things to order next time around. Love what you did with it and thanks for the inspiration.
