Chris was so excited about me getting published and he had the magalogue and my card matted and framed. He designed the layout and picked the mat colors. Wow! Chris knows how much I love to papercraft and that I was hoping to get published someday. How thoughtful and what a great way to remember this first experience. Just wanted to share...thanks for reading. :)

Love You
I wanted to share a Valentine card that I made. I used TAC's Just Dream stamp set. TAC released it at last summer's seminar in Wichita. I was insipred by a wedding card in the most recent issue of Paper Crafts magazine. The wedding card had a large image of a bride and groom and I thought of this angel image as I was plannig out my card. I was scrapbooking at a friend's house and I'd forgotten all my ink and colored pencils (ugh!), so I ended up borrowing a fine tip red sharpie marker to color my image. It made it so easy to color! I went out and bought my own pack of markers when I left her house that day!
Today is the LAST day to take advantage of The Angel Company's 50% off sale!! All t-coded stampes are 50% off and you can order from my online shop. If you plan to order $100 or more, be sure to order directly through me so that you can pick out some free stamps!
Supplies-
Just Dream
Martha Stewart border punch (love these!)
red and white cardstock
red fine point Sharpie marker
black ribbon
Gray Tombow marker (for outlining image)
black StazOn ink

Card Sketch
I've been in a bit of a creative funk and decided to try out Heather's most recent sketch. My patterned paper is from TAC's Penelope Soar With it Collection. My sentiment is from the stamp set 'Soul's Kisses'. It's a set that is being offered with TAC's Wonderful Winter Wishes promotional. I was having problems finding the right color of paper to stamp my sentiment on, so I ended up sponging Violete Palette ink on to a light brownish piece of cardstock. I have quite the stash of flowers going on...I tend to hoard them...so it was a big step to add these three flowers to this card! LOL! I've also had some velvet brads that were tucked away...taken out from time to time and admired...and they were perfect for this card.

'Love'ly Inspiration
I was needing one more card idea for an upcoming class and I found this fantastic card over at a fellow Angel's blog - Rachel. I changed my card up just ever so slightly by making it from a 6x6 piece of cardstock and then laying the circles the opposite way. Great card, Rachel! Thanks for the inspiration. :)
I used Love Doodles and Sweet Goodies on this card. If you like these stamp sets, you can purchase them and any other t-coded stamps for 50% off from now until January 26th. You can order through me (sgilreath@hotmail.com) or my online ECommerce site! If you want to take advantage of customer or hostess rewards, you will need to place the order directly through me.

6x6 Layout
Here's a little 6x6 layout of me with my nephew, Chase. Isn't he cute? Besides the cute baby, my favorite part about this layout is the little 'love' tag. I used my oval scallop punch to make the decorative edges on the white and red cardstock of the tag. I'd seen this done before, but had never tried it. I just love how it looks! Gives me one more use for my scallop punches.

New Craftroom Furniture!!
Chris and I have some great friends, Tim and Mary, and Tim is an AMAZING woodworker. I just have to share what he made me for Christmas. Before I show you though, I want to show you what he gave me last Christmas.
Tim made the set of drawers to the left of my desk. Cool, huh?!
To lead up to this year's gift, you have to check out this next picture. This is how I have been storing my paper. It's not that bad. It gets the job done.

'About Me' Project
I love projects that contain spots for journaling and I found a cute project made by Julie Griffith. I found the idea in her project gallery. Here's a picture of her project:
