The Angel Company just released their Spring Supplement. They have several great, new stamp sets and they are also offering the Big Bite in April! I have the Crop-a-Dile and love it, so I think the Big Bite will be great, too.
TAC is offering Double Rewards from March 1 - April 30th!! Woo-hoo!! For every $30 you spend you will receive two free GWP stamps. Hostess rewards will also be doubled- the rewards begin when you have a minimum $100 FunShop. Another option is to have a catalog party or you and a friend can each spend $50 and split the rewards! If you would like to take advantage of this great opportunity, please contact me soon!!

Scor-Pal...I love it!
School was called off today due to freezing rain, so I got to spend some time trying out my new toy - the Scor-Pal! I've only tried one project so far, but I've already decided that I made a wise investment. I chose to make a triangular tri-fold card. You can view a great tutorial by Beate Johns here. I had to practice a couple of times to get it to fold together just right, but I've got it down now and I'm ready to make a bunch of these cute little things!
I was browsing blogs and came across a blog by Katie Skiff. She is offering some great blog candy. To be entered you have to create a card using the sketch that she provides. I've been itching to cut into my pack of Kamalaht paper and this sketch was just the spring board that I needed. What do you think?
Supplies for Tri-Fold card:
Mimi SWIC
Butterbees and More
Tag Tidbits
Coluzzle Oval template
misc. brown ribbon
Supplies for card-sketch card:
Kamalaht Classic SWIC
Forget Not
large black brad
black VersaMagic ink
Cuttlebug flower dies

This is a mini album that I made for a co-worker's niece- for her birdal shower. They wanted something that the guests could sign and leave words of wisdom or advice. I was given a napkin to base my design on. It was my first commisioned project and was a lot of fun. I completed the front and back cover, embellished the edges of each inside page, punched the holes with my BIA and sent the unbound album with them to be signed at the shower. They returned it to me after the shower and I bound the book and added the ribbon. They were very happy with it, which made me very happy. I'm a perfectionist and a people pleaser, so I tend to stress about things like this. :)
Supplies:
BIA
Classic Alphabet
Pixie Dust VersaMagic ink
Burnt Umber Palette Ink
VersaMark
misc. brown, pink, tan, white cardstock
misc. ribbon, pink brads, mat board
Sports Fanatic (retired set) used baseball stamp to make polkadots

New Creations
Check out this fun little 3x3 notecard! I finally cut into my pack of Toodle Loo paper. I layered a couple of the patterned pieces of paper on to 'Sunbeam' Bazzill cardstock. I think the green flower really ties everything together. This will be a little side project at a FunShop I'm demonstrating at tomorrow. I think the ladies will like it.
I just had to make another notepad with my BIA. That little machine is addictive!

Color Challenge
Jen offered a color challenge over at PaperWings and this is the card that I designed. I used DCWV cardstock in the following colors- Raspberry 1, Plum 1, Robin's Egg 2, and Green 2.
My friend Nancy tells me that I have a linear style and this card definitely shows it!! LOL! I love order and clean lines.
School is out today because of ice, so I'm going to head back to my craft desk to see what else I can accomplish today!!

Amberley Grace Mini Album
I have to say that I've been having fun with my new Bind it All . It really makes it easy to put together mini albums. This is a project for another Hostess Club later this month. It features TAC's new paper line- Amberley Grace. Because I'm doing this for a FunShop and I don't know exactly how many people will be there, I only used small pieces of the paper so that I could make it stretch. The paper is sooooo pretty!
Amberley Grace is part of the Soar With It collection and it is just $6.95! You receive 5, 12x12 pieces of patterned cardstock and an awesome sheet of coordinating tags. I think it's a great value.
The pictures are a little washed out, I tried my best, sorry! Each page base is a piece of white cardstock that has been tinted with different Palette inks. I wanted to get rid of some of the 'bright' white.
Supplies:
More Abundance
My Life
Amberley Grace SWIC
Amberley Grace coordinating cardstock
Butterbees and More
Bind it All
1/2" binding wire
mat board
misc. ribbon, silver brads
Palette ink- Charcoal, Water Lily Green, Haystack, Burnt Umber, Noir

I sent out my February Newsletter today and announced the winners of my January Color Challenge. The challenge was to use this business card holder that I found on Etsy.com as the color inspiration. My friend Diana and my mother-in-law, Kathy, each submitted some great work. Take a look!

Great work ladies!! I'll be sending some stamping goodies your way!

I'm having a Stamp-a-Stack class on Feb. 23rd and I'm really excited about it. I've been wanting to have one of these for quite awhile now and I was inspired by Jen Bluestein's recent Card Buffet. Thanks for the inspiration, Jen!
For $15 you will be making 16 cards at the Stamp-a-Stack class. 4 cards each of 4 designs. Here's a sneak peak at a couple of them...
