I love making these little squash albums. I taught a friend how to make one this weekend. For this project I used papers from TAC's 8x8 paper pad called Uptown Girl. On the inside I used flourish stamps from TAC and embellished it with a Souffle Gelly pen.
I have a workshop this coming weekend and I'm trying to finish up my kits for it. Problem though....I left my paper cutter at my friends house and she lives 2 hours away!! I have my old one that I can use for now, but it's just not the same....

Stamp Camp

I had a stamp camp a couple of weekends ago. It was my first one and went very well. I usually just hold workshops where there's a hostess and we make three cards. I charged $20 for this class. I asked people to pay ahead of time so that I could order supplies. It really worked out well that way. Since people paid their money up front they were committed to come. I used the Rustic Chic 8X8 paper pad from TAC . We made a 4 1/2 inch photo squash album, 4 cards (2 of each design), 4 tags, and a memo book (not pictured). Everyone had a lot of fun and they're asking when my next class will be. My dream is to build a shop next to my house so that I can teach classes. It's always so hard to find a place to meet. The nearest place for me to go and take a class is 45 min. in one direction and an hour in the other. I would love to be able to offer more classes right here where I live.

I'm putting some Valentine cards together for a workshop that I'll be teaching. The stamp I used on the card to the left is called So Girly Swirly. It is from TAC . I used black ink to stamp the image and then embellished it with a teal Souffle Gelly pen. A friend asked me if this was patterned paper, so I guess I did a good job. :) To the right is a library card pocket. I layered pp from TAC's 8X8 paper pad, Uptown Girl, onto black cardstock. The heart images are from the stamp set Happy Heart Day. I plan to put suckers inside of this. I may make some of these up for my kindergarten class...that would mean making 19...I'd better get started. :)
